All those people who do pictures of dogs acting as though they're humans. I just saw a picture with a disney-esque style dog eating sushi with chop sticks and it really strikes me as wrong. Animals are animals, and they're great because of it. We don't like dogs because they're anything at all like humans, we love them because they're so different and it's freeing. We love cats because they're so aloof and give you their time when they see fit, nothing we'd tolerate in people. So seeing someone personifying an animal just rubs me the wrong way. I just don't get it.

Maybe I'm just being a bit closed minded but I think making animals more human goes against what makes them animals and what makes us want to be around them (or be them, lol).

This is kinda directed at the style of drawing where it's for example a dog head but the body is essentially human except for the fur covering it. These have never sat well with me, I just don't think I ever thought about why.
